Carol is an associate at Dormer Stanhope Lawyers. She was admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2023 and entered on the Register of Practitioners of the High Court of Australia in 2024. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of New South Wales and completed a Bachelor of Law in China.

Carol practises primarily in succession law. She assists clients with estate disputes and family provision claims. Before joining Dormer Stanhope, she worked as a solicitor in Sydney, drafting wills and assisting clients with estate administration, from applying for a grant of probate or letters of administration to collecting assets and distributing the estate. She also practised in elder law (including powers of attorney and enduring guardianship), retirement village law and conveyancing. All of this work remains part of her practice.

Carol advises clients in English or Mandarin. Before moving to Australia, she worked as in-house counsel in China, drafting and reviewing commercial and employment contracts and assisting with debt recovery litigation.
